Job Summary:

The RF Engineers engaged in designing, implementing and maintaining wireless communication. RF Engineers specialize in designing, implementing and maintaining wireless communication systems. Radio Frequency Engineers are responsible for managing the optimization, analysis and upgradation of GSM network.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible to carry out RF planning, design and optimization activities on 4G/3G/2G network including cell planning, initial tuning, interference analysis, drive-testing, OSS KPI monitoring and performance improvement.
• Manage the RF activities as the drive testing and prepare benchmark, pre-swap, post-swap, site verification and acceptance drive testing/OSS statistic in accordance with the documentation guidelines
• Radio Optimization of 2G/3G/LTE networks to trouble shoot and improve KPIs
• Analysis of 2G/3G/LTE KPIs, investigation and improvement of network quality problems
• Analysis of neighbor relations and implementation of corrections
• Perform root-cause analysis of RF issues to meet target KPIs
• Recommend parameter changes to improve performance and prepare status reports.
• Design new Wireless Networks RF Plans
• Ensure Regulatory Standards are met
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting
• Fixed Wireless Network Planning and optimization
• Capacity Dimensioning and Design
• Interference Analysis
• Ensure the best QOS delivered for the last mile end user
• Perform routine audits of network parameters and recommend remedial action where necessary
• Handle and monitor the performance of new upgrades on the network
• Enhance the Performance of Present Wireless Networks
• Have the ability to work in a team and Prioritize workload

Job Requirement:

Education: 

BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or Computer Science

Experience:

At least 1 year of RF experience in RF & Optimization section

Skills Required:

• Expertise with RF DT measurement tools (ex TEMS) and post-processing tools (ex. Actix, Map Info), TEMS discovery, frequency scanner machine usage
• Willing to travel.
• Strong technical skills and familiar with planning, design and optimization activities on 4G/3G/2G network
• Open minded, Good interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills in multi-culture organizations
• Ability of reading, speaking and writing of Dari, Pashto and English Languages
• Ability of work in Office and other computer programming related to job
